Megaera loathes the former king for his past crimes, and is often tasked in punishing him, alongside her sisters. She doesn't remember Persephone well, but she admits that everyone in the underworld used to say that she was a good and fair queen. Almost everyone likes Achilles, including Megaera.Īlthough she doesn't even want to get close to him, Charon was seen taking Megaera, Thanatos, and Zagreus on a casual boat ride for fishing, which was very nice of him. He encourages Zagreus to pursue both Than and Meg. They still play with Zagreus from time to time. He used to take care of Megaera and Thanatos when they were very young. Although Megaera doesn't want to follow the absurd rules imposed by Hades and wants to rebel against him, she does so only out of obligation to her job duty. Hades trusts Megaera deeply, handpicking her to punish Zagreus because he knows she has unfinished business to settle with him and will do the job well. Unlike the other Furies, and as much as Megaera is largely closed off about her feelings, while Nyx brushes her hair, she will open up to her, crying in her lap and sharing her work frustrations, while Nyx comforts her. Megaera see beyond mentor a maternal figure. She very rarely doubts her, and consistently listens to her advice.

Megaera shows a great deal of reverence to the goddess of Night. Upon Dusa's return, Meg is relieved, but remains frustrated with Zagreus as she feels it shouldn't have come to that in the first place. When Dusa is briefly fired, Meg is upset, blaming Zagreus for forcing Nyx's hand and even confronting him about it when he encounters her in Tartarus. After completing Dusa's favor, Megaera will tell Zagreus that he and Dusa did a good job renovating the Lounge. She is shown to be looking out for the gorgon maid, and is sometimes seen gossiping with her. Megaera is often shown to be on friendly terms with Dusa, despite the differences in their station, viewing her as more of a sister than Alecto or Tisiphone. Megaera genuinely starts to enjoy talking to him so he doesn't feel so alone. Although Hypnos no longer thinks of Megaera as invincible, he is easily able to overcome the 'rejection'. So Hypnos allows himself to believe that Megaera started dying more frequently just to see him exclusively, as if they had some sort of platonic connection. Having always perceived Megaera as invincible, her pedestal begins to crack, whose flames are stoked with each defeat to Zagreus, even with her "incrible advice". Initially, she doesn't care for Hypmos, sees him as clown and she is too busy for his childish antics When Megaera emerges from the Styx, he gives her the same type of advice he offers to Zagreus, jokingly saying "My condolences." With each visit from Meg, Hypnos begins to develop a small crush on her and sees Megaera as a lone wolf and someone very badass. Should Zagreus romance Thanatos, it's revealed she's the one who encouraged the latter to confess, and if she's romanced at the same time, the three can form a polyamorous relationship. They bonded over dealing with the crafty king, and have been on good terms ever since, now bonding over having to deal with the stubborn Prince. Thanatos and Megaera are work colleagues and friends, having met during a past debacle involving Sisyphus. Zagreus has the option to repair their relationship, and perhaps rekindle their romance, should he choose to. She disapproves of his attempts to leave the Underworld, viewing it as him avoiding his responsibilities and his family. When Zagreus begins his escape attempts, Megaera is tasked in stopping him. They are shown to be on uneasy terms from that point on. Megaera and Zagreus were once in a relationship, but by the events of the game, this relationship has long since ended due to some mistake on Zagreus' part. However, they emerge to cover for their sister after Megaera proves insufficient to stop Zagreus' attempts to escape.

They do not interact initially as both Tisiphone and Alecto, were kicked out of the house for bad behavior and are busy with the affairs of the mortal world.
